چکیده

Abstract This study was designed to test the ability of some plant growth-promoting bacteria adverse effects salinity on soybean growth. The effect Bacillus MAP3 and Enterobacter Delta PSK, along with Bradyrhizobium japonicum studied at two levels NaCl salinization (50 100 mM). physical growth parameters bacterized (21 days old), particularly plants co-inoculated + were significantly enhanced compared control plants. shoot length, leaf area, root chlorophyll a content increased by 49.58%, 78.58%, 20.19%, 57.35%, respectively, indicating promoting activity this bacterial combination. After 19 following onset stress, retarded in controls improved due treatments, especially DeltaPSK, which values all regardless level. Additionally, electrolyte leakage, amounts malondialdehyde hydrogen peroxide decreased considerably combined treatment . Overall, combination PSK original symbiont B. under salt mitigate osmotic stress. strain yield should be further evaluated pave way for its use as biofertilizer japonicum,

Effect of seed priming with selenium nanoparticles and plant growth promoting rhizobacteria on improving Quinoa seedling growth under salinity stress

Soil and water salinity are the most important problems that limit crop production, especially in the arid and semi-arid regions. This study was conducted to investigate the effect of growth-promoting bacteria and selenium nanoparticle pretreatment on increasing the tolerance of the Chenopodium quinoa plant to salinity. A factorial experiment was conducted in a completely randomized design with...

Plant Growth and Development under Salinity Stress

Plant growth and development are adversely affected by salinity – a major environmental stress that limits agricultural production. This chapter provides an overview of the physiological mechanisms by which growth and development of crop plants are affected by salinity. The initial phase of growth reduction is due to an osmotic effect, is similar to the initial response to water stress and show...

Growth and Chemical Composition of Pistachio Seedling Rootstock in Response to Exogenous Polyamines under Salinity Stress

In order to evaluate responses of a pistachio seedling rootstock (Pistacia vera L. cv. Ghazvini) to NaCl induced salinity stress and potential protective role of exogenous spermine and spermidine on NaCl induced salinity stress, a greenhouse experiment was conducted during growing season of 2009. The NaCl treatments, involving 800, 1600, and 3200 mg NaCl per Kg of soil for 90 days, suppressed g...

Mechanisms of plant growth promoting rhizobacteria (PGPR) and mycorrhizae fungi to enhancement of plant growth under salinity stress: A review

Salinity is the major environmental factor limiting plant growth and productivity. Under salinity conditions, plant growth is affected by a number of factors such as hormonal and nutritional imbalance, ion toxicity, physiological disorders, susceptibility to diseases, etc. Plant growth under stress conditions may be enhanced by the application of microbial inoculation including plant growth pro...

MOLYBDATE TRANSPORT IN THE Bradyrhizobium japonicum - Glycine max L. SYMBIOSIS

For the molybdoenzymes synthesis as the nitrogenase, the molybdenum, in its most stable form, the molybdate, must be transported inside the cell. In Bradyrhizobium japonicum, the modABC genes code for a high-affinity ABC-type molybdate transporter. This work allowed to study the effect of inoculation of soybean plants with strains affected in the molybdate transport. modA and modB mutants, unab...
